CAMHS in Bradford is proud of its innovative practice in developing new pathways of care with primary care and home treatment as an alternative to inpatient care, along with our contribution to multi-agency care pathways for children not attending school and children with learning disabilities. 

Consultants Child and Adolescent (2 posts)
Salary: £76,761 to £103,940 2 x Posts – 1 is 10 PA’s and the other 6 PA’s Location: Hillbrook, Keighley 

We are advertising for two substantive Consultants working for our CAMHS Service covering the Airewharfe and Craven areas of the district. The post that is available for 10 PA’s may have some flexibility to work a different proportionate of PA’s subject to the needs of the service and candidate requirements. Please ensure you indicate your requirement clearly in your application. 

Your role will be to cover psychiatry, particularly to a locality team. In addition to the general responsibility, there will be a contribution to the management of young people at risk of out of area placements, and there will be an opportunity to develop specialist interest sessions in agreement with senior management. 

The successful candidate will provide medical leadership for the team and contribute towards on-going development of the service. You will work closely with other consultants in the service and have access to junior doctor support and be part of the wider group of General Adult psychiatrists and other psychiatrists in the trust.
