Senior Clinical Fellows Emergency Medicine
We want to help you do the job you love, whilst offering a work life balance for you and your family, develop your EM skills and support your development as a future Emergency medicine consultant.
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are now recruiting for middle grade clinical fellows to work at the John Radcliffe hospital, Oxford and Horton General Hospital, Banbury Emergency departments here in the UK. This offers a unique opportunity to work cross-site in a major trauma centre and a localised DGH. The department also has close links with a world-class university that could help to develop you as teacher, mentor or educationalist.
We cover all specialties within our trust and can offer secondments, as they are required for further development in areas, including Anaesthetics, ITU, Medicine and Paediatrics. We have significant experience with Article 14 and can offer FRCEM exam support. We also offer a range of support to develop: Quality improvement, Leadership and ultrasound.
We also support a work life balance. We have an annualised rota, with no shift swaps; 1:3 weekends maximum, Weekly SPA for governance activity (no need to use free time!) and a competitive salary.
These posts are available for 12 months with a view to extend by mutual agreement. The trust is in the position to offer a relocation package of up to £8000.
Oxford is a beautiful city; the city centre has the famous oxford spires and a historic university. There’s also glorious countryside within a close radius of the hospital with easy access and public transport to London, the Cotswolds and the midlands.
If this sounds like an opportunity that you would like to explore, then please get in touch. We will be happy to talk in further detail about what OUH can do for you.
