Clinical Research Fellow in Ophthalmology

About the role: We wish to appoint an excellent research fellow to participate in several clinical studies within ophthalmology. This involves recruiting patients and their families, examining patients and investigating them with techniques such as OCT and magnetic resonance imaging.
You will also actively participate in two Paediatric Ophthalmology and Neuro-Ophthalmology clinics and strabismus surgery and perform one additional follow up clinic per week as well as four primary care clinics per year. No on-call work will be required.
About you: You will hold a full GMC registration and a Licence to practice, and have previous training and experience in Ophthalmology, (ideally to ST3 level or above). You will be proficient in refraction of children and adults, have excellent organisational skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
