The Chair in Radiology provides a challenging opportunity for a suitably qualified person with a record of leadership and achievement in an area of diagnostic and interventional radiology and research.

Applicants must hold appropriate higher qualifications and be registered or eligible for registration as a medical practitioner in Australia. Appointees will undertake a full range of academic responsibilities for graduate and postgraduate teaching, supervision and research as well as clinical responsibilities in their relevant disciplines.

  • 5 year fixed term with the possibility for renewal
  • Professorial (Level E) and hospital salaries
  • Access to private practice (limited or election to a private practice allowance)
  • Generous start up grant will be provided
  • Employer contribution to superannuation is 17%
  • of salary
  • Recreation leave of 20 working days per annum
  • Long Service Leave after ten years
  • Eligibility for sabbatical leave
