Consultant Radiologist – General with a Sub-specialty Interest
Following a new strategic service agreement for a purpose built state-of-the-art diagnostic centre in partnership with Alliance Medical Ltd (AML), Colchester Hospital’s radiology department is undergoing significant expansion and invites applications for the following posts:
- Consultant Radiologist with subspecialty interest in Musculoskeletal Imaging (two posts). General radiologists with a musculoskeletal specialty interest are preferred, with scope to include other specialty interests to complement existing expertise within the department.
- Consultant Radiologist with interest in Chest Medicine (two posts). Applicants with general radiology experience willing to develop their own subspecialty interest to complement the department would also be considered.
- Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Nuclear Medicine and PET CT.
- Consultant Radiologist with an interest in body imaging and Oncology imaging. Interest in non-vascular interventional radiology will also be preferred.
Successful candidates will have full GMC registration, FRCR or equivalent qualification and must either be on the Specialist Register for Radiology or have achieved CCT within 6 months from the interview date.
