Consultant - Community Paediatrician 

Permanent - 10 PA's plus 1 APA 

Applicants are invited to apply for the position of Consultant in Community Paediatrics. 

This Paediatric Department serves a child population of 68,000.  Their aim of the service is to provide excellence in child care, with a clear focus on the child and family. 

The Trust has an excellent Postgraduate Medical Centre which carries a full programme of events and offerers access to a Medical Library. 

Salary Range

£76,001 to £102,465 pa  

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Level 3 and above training in Child Protection 
  • MRCP/MRCPCH by examination ( or equivalent ) 
  • Full GMC registration 
  • A sub specialty interest in community and behavioural Paediatrics with at least 2 years experience in this area. 
  • Experience of working with children with special needs 
  • Experience in managing safeguarding issues 
  • Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients.
