University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust (UHBristol) seeks applicants for a Clinical Fellow post in Emergency Medicine at SHO/ST 1 – 2 Level to commence in March 2017. These posts are stand alone posts and will run until August, with the added development of an area of specialist interest for the successful applicant.
The post provides an ideal opportunity for the successful candidate to work in a busy inner city university hospital, with teaching and research responsibilities and is based in the adult side of the department, serving the Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI).
The posts participates in a 24 hour full shift SHO/ST1-2 rota and benefits from 24-hour Middle Grade support. The posts would be ideal for any candidates planning a career in Emergency Medicine or any acute speciality and is also suitable for those candidates wishing to pursue a career in General Practice. The successful applicants will have full support and advice for career progression.
The department would allocate 2 shifts a month to be dedicated to an area of interest to the successful applicants. We would propose areas such as Teaching, Clinical Safety, Free Open Access Medical Education (FOAMed), but we would also look to support other suggestions.
