Clinician Scientist in Paediatric Infectious Diseases

Grade: E82 £76,001 - £102,465 per annum

The University Department of Paediatrics is seeking to appoint a Clinician Scientist to work with the Paediatric Infectious Diseases team. You will be expected to develop an internationally competitive independent research programme in Paediatric Infection and Immunity in the Department of Paediatrics.

Our Paediatric Infectious Disease team is part of a vibrant community of academic endeavour at Oxford University in infection & immunity and vaccinology (the Oxford Vaccine Group) with an international reputation. The postholder will have opportunities to contribute to the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programme in paediatrics in the medical school and clinical training of specialist trainees in paediatric infectious disease, including clinical lecturers. You will be part of a lively and intellectually stimulating research community, with access to the excellent research facilities at the University of Oxford.

Candidates will be required to have the MRCPCH or equivalent as well as CCT (or equivalent) in Paediatric infectious diseases or immunology. The position is full-time and funding is available for 5 years.
