Applications are invited for the above new substantive post. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the Orthodontic Team at the Jersey General Hospital and to relocate to the Island of Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands.

You will be part of a team consisting of a consultant colleague, who is reducing to part time and a full time Orthodontic Therapist. The post holder will be involved in weekly joint clinics with the Oral and Maxillofacial Consultants. The Community Dental service comprising of Dental Officers and a Restorative Consultant are base in the same department.
The department is a modern facility with six surgeries. New dental chairs were installed in 2015 and is currently working towards the introduction of an electronic patient record. This is a substantive post, the focus of which is to maintain the delivery of Orthodontic services and provide the best possible care to patients. Candidates will be required to have a strong background in all aspects of the specialty.
Full travelling expenses are paid from a UK port of entry, with a generous relocation package available and the appointee may take advantage of Jersey taxation policies. The post attracts residential qualifications and Jersey has excellent affordable private education for children. Under Jersey Law, applicants must possess FULL registration with the General Medical Council and hold a licence to practise.
