Tower Hamlets Community & Mental Health Services Directorate provides a responsive, high quality, skilled care and support to adults experiencing mental illness and their families. We are working in partnership with patients and families, which necessitates positive risk taking and holding a holistic perspective of person centred care.
This is the reason we have a continuity of care from working with GP (psychiatric liaison for primary care) to inpatient care.
You’ll be an experienced doctor at consultant level and Section 12 approval. The team has strong clinical leadership, relies on evidence-based practice and is involved in continuous Quality Improvement. You will have regular support from consultant psychiatrist colleagues and work within a medical firm including a Speciality trainee and GPVTS doctor.
There are opportunities for further training and involvement quality improvement projects, research, clinical leadership, patient involvement and integrated care. Tower Hamlets is one of the Vanguard sites for integrated care in England, as part of Five Year Forward View.
