Kristiansund is a great place to live. This northwestern coastal town is situated at the entrance of several beautiful fjords. Kristiansund is neither small nor large, but offers a high level of leisure activities within culture and sports and it is remarkably closely situated to the ocean, the fjords, forrest and mountains - right outside your doorstep!
If you like skiing, alpine, sailing, paddling, swimming, football, fishing, dancing, chess, opera and orchestras Kristiansund can offer this and much more in close vicinity. The city can also offer study programs at university college level, as well as high schools and a well-established work market.
Kristiansund is a town with international impulses. Throughout the year there are several large events that attract guests from far and near. The town has its own airport with daily departures to all the larger cities in Norway. The town is also a port for the passenger- and cargo ship Hurtigruten that runs up and down the coast of Norway.

We are in search of a competent nephrologist. The person we would like to employ will be working in close cooperation with a very highly qualified staff headed by our Chief nephrologist. The work includes outpatient nephrology (incl. transplanted patients), dialysis (25-30 haemodialysis patients) as well as inpatient kidney disease beds.
Do you want to be our colleague or perhaps just talk to us about the many possibilities the hospital can offer, please contact us. You are more than welcome to come and visit us at work for a week to see if our workspace suits you. If you already speak a Scandinavian lingo you can take on a temporary assignment. We might also be interested in a long-term commitment including working in intervals/reduced position.
