Consultant Cardiologist with interest in Cardiac Imaging

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of 14 Cardiology consultants in Hull and 6 Cardiology Consultants in Scunthorpe and Grimsby Hospitals. The post holder will be involved in the delivery of simple and complex cardiac devices across the Hull and East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire and Hospitals Trusts. 

The post will be hosted by Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals and will provide services to North Lincolnshire Hospital NHS Trust for 2 days per week for device implantation, physiologist support and Quality Assurance. 

There will be opportunities to participate in clinical governance, audit, education and training, as well as other aspects of continuing pro-fessional development.

The Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust has an annual budget of circa £481 million, employs over 8,000 staff and serves an extended population of 1.2 million.

The Hospital is a Teaching Hospital linked to Hull and York Medical School. Clinical services are split between two sites - Hull Royal Infirmary and the Castle Hill Hospital. The clinical services at North Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals are split between the two sites at Scunthorpe and Grimsby.
