Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist

Wessex Forensic Psychiatry service is looking to recruit one full time equivalent Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist. The services are based across two sites but there is a project ongoing to redesign the entire forensic pathway which includes the provision of a new medium secure service. The post will be based at Ravenswood House Medium Secure Unit.
The post has become available due an expansion in Consultant numbers. The post-holder will be responsible for managing an inpatient caseload and providing gatekeeping assessments for the catchment area.
There is flexibility within the post for the job descriptions to change as there may be opportunities for the successful applicant to take on alternative roles within the services.
