Consultant General Pathologist with an interest in Cardiac Pathology

Applications are invited for an exciting and unique new consultant post with 10 programmed activities (PAs). The post-holders will be based at St George’s Hospital. Candidates will be expected to have, or develop an interest in cardiac pathology (4PAs), together with a component of general adult pathology reporting (6PAs). This post will provide clinical, academic and teaching opportunities.
The Cellular Pathology department at St George’s Hospital is the hub for the South West London Pathology Service. This incorporates cervical screening cytopathology from St George’s, Croydon Health Services and Kingston Hospital NHS Trusts, and diagnostic cytology and histopathology from Croydon and St George’s. This is a busy department and is a friendly and supportive environment in which to develop specialist expertise.
