Applications are invited for substantive Consultant posts to join our Cellular Pathology department.
The positions are two replacement posts, and one new whole time consultant post with 10 programmed activities (PAs). Candidates will be expected to offer subspecialist reporting which will include one or more of skin, urology, gynaecology, haematopathology, diagnostic cytology and cervical screening cytology. Other specialties may be considered on discussion.
The Cellular Pathology department at St George’s Hospital is the hub for the South West London Pathology Service. This incorporates cervical screening cytopathology from St George’s, Croydon Health Services and Kingston Hospital NHS Trusts, and diagnostic cytology and histopathology from Croydon and St George’s. This is a busy department and is a friendly and supportive environment in which to develop specialist expertise.
