Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust, a multi-award winning Trust and voted one of the top 10 best places to work in the NHS, is a well-managed and financially stable foundation trust with an excellent track record of providing high quality mental health, learning disability and substance misuse services to 2 million people living in County Durham, the Tees Valley, North Yorkshire and York and Selby.
These posts have arisen as a result of retirement and relocation. They are
an opportunity for passionate applicants to join an established team of 10
committed and supportive consultants across Teesside CYPS; there are also
speciality doctors and tier 4 consultant colleagues. CQC (2015) rated the
service as Good in all key lines of enquiry. We rated extremely well in the
NHS National benchmarking report (2016) on CAMHS services - the volume
of work compared to the number of whole time equivalents was the best in
the country. Tees CYPS has embedded CYP-IAPT, a 24/7 CAMHS crisis/liaison service, young person centred care pathways, embraces quality improvement, is developing currency and tariff systems and also benefits from a commitment from local commissioners who have supported investment in our services over the last 3 years.
