Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon
The appointee will support and develop both elective and trauma or-thopaedic paediatric surgery. The post holder will work with colleagues to provide services across the county including out patient clinics and emergency referrals. Surgery will be carried out at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. There will be links to Bristol children’s Hospital with a regular MDT.
The appointee should be an exceptional surgeon with a broad general training in trauma/orthopaedic surgery and specialist training in paediatric orthopaedic surgery.. The post will also include 1:12 on call for trauma, and elective paediatric orthopaedic sessions
Joining a wider community of 26 T & O surgeons in Gloucestershire, you will have a subspecialty interest complementing the current team and will ideally have done a recognised fellowship in the interest.

Applicants should hold CCT or be within 6 months of CCT at the time of the Advisory Appointments Committee.
