Consultant In Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery
Lower Limb Arthroplasty
(With an interest in Revision Hip Surgery)
The appointee will support and develop both elective and trauma or-thopaedic arthroplasty surgery. The post holder will work with colleagues to provide services across the county including out patient clinics and emergency referrals. Elective Surgery will be carried out at Cheltenham General Hospital while Trauma Surgery will be carried out Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Joining a wider community of 26 T & O surgeons in Gloucestershire, the appointee should be an exceptional surgeon with a broad general training in trauma/orthopaedic surgery and specialist recognised training in Lower Limb Arthroplasty surgery. The post will include 1:12 on call for trauma. For further details please refer to the indicative job plan.

Applicants should hold CCT or be within 6 months of CCT at the time of the Advisory Appointments Committee. Whole-time, part-time or job share applicants welcome.
