We are seeking a Consultant colleague to join the department of Restorative Dentistry in this beautiful area of North East Wales, to be based in Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The post is a permanent replacement post.

This post will be based at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, Wrexham. The post holder will be required to support the Head and Neck cancer MDT and therefore work closely with colleagues at other District General Hospital sites in North Wales+. There will be opportunity to develop links with the local dental school/hospitals. 

The department of Restorative Dentistry is based within the Maxillo-Facial Department at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital which is also shared with Orthodontics and Oral and Maxillo –Facial Surgery.

This is a fully integrated department comprising: 

  • Modern surgeries and minor ops room
  • Modern on site Dental Laboratory
  • Competent, enthusiastic and motivated staff

The contract will be offered on a 10 session basis in line with Welsh Assembly Government guidance, with the possibility of additional sessions being offered subject to job planning review.
