NHS Consultant 2013 or NHS Agenda for Change Band 8d (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Part-time: 4 Programmed Activities (PAs) or 15 hours per week (NHS Agenda for Change) (applicants for part-time, job share or flexible working will be considered)

We are looking for a part-time Consultant in Health Protection to be based in Greater Manchester. You will be expected, when required, to work across the North West in response to service requirements. This role offers the opportunity to work in some of the most beautiful countryside and some of the most disadvantaged communities in England. The post offers the opportunity to work on a range of issues relating to health protection including AMR and emergency planning, resilience and response.
You will share responsibility, with the other health protection consultants and practitioners, for dealing with the surveillance, prevention and control of communicable disease and the response to non-infectious environmental hazards.
