Consultant In Stroke Medicine
Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals is the regional teaching hospital, providing general acute services to Brighton, Hove and Mid Sussex and tertiary services for patients across Sussex and the south east of England. Working as one hospital across two sites in Brighton and Haywards Heath, we treat over half a million patients a year.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic, committed stroke physician to work alongside a strong Multi-disciplinary team providing comprehensive care to our patients.
Exciting current changes include the move of neuroradiology and neurosurgery to the RSCH site which has enhanced the care we provide and allowed the development of interventional arterial work. A pan Sussex review of stroke care is on-going to ensure all patients receive the highest standards of care across the county.
We are looking for committed, intellectually rigorous physicians to join the team and help us really make a difference for our patients. The stroke service at RSCH was recently rated as outstanding by CQC in August 2016 and efficient and proactive in the GIRFT report June 2016. We are currently rated a SSNAP B Unit
