Clinical Research Fellow in Obstetrics
Applications are invited for the exciting new post of Clinical Research Fellow in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at The Royal Wolverhampton Hospital NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will be the key researcher taking forward projects from a new joint collaborative research programme established between the Department of Obstetrics and the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit at the University of Oxford.
The focus of the research will be on anaemia in pregnancy, the mechanisms of association with obstetric outcomes and its treatment.
The research will be supervised by Dr D Churchill, Consultant Obstetrician and Professor M Knight, NIHR Professor at the NPEU.
The post is suitable for a trainee or post CCT specialist in Obstetrics with a demonstrable interest and commitment to research in the specialty and would be suitable for a candidate interested in pursuing research towards a higher degree.
