Salary: £37,547 to £70,018 per annum (plus financial lump sum: £5,000 on completion of first years’ service, £6,000 on completion of second years’ service, and £7,000 on completion of third years’ service.
10PA’s (Additional Programmed Activities: 2 (The requirement for you to undertake additional Programmed Activities will be reviewed annually)
This post typical involves working on a resident on-call rota, so depending on agreement, this post would normally exceed the basic 10 PA full time contract.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Specialty Doctor to join our dynamic and forward thinking Children’s Services at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, as part of on-going investment into the service.
You will join a busy, friendly and developing Children’s Services treating the children of Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.
This post typical involves working on a resident on call rota, so depending on agreement, this post would normally exceed the basic 10 PA full time contract.
As Children’s Services is a key development area for the Trust, there is an additional Recruitment and retention premia package attached to this post, which consists of: The Paediatric department comprises teams of junior doctors (previously known as Senior House Officers), middle grade doctors (previously known as Registrars) and consultants working together in the management of children.” “The current middle grade tier comprises of 8 Staff Grade paediatricians, five Specialist Registrars (ST4-7) on the Oxford rotation. “ Generally, both SHOs and middle grade doctors/registrars come under the term “Junior Doctors” In acute paediatrics, there are currently 11 full time consultants.
