We are seeking Consultants with drive, commitment and enthusiasm who will bring a consistent focus to high performance and quality of care, working collaboratively with colleagues and providing clinical leadership to the wider team. 

ELHT is one of four Trusts nationwide to be named as a development site for the Royal College of Physicians Future Hospitals Programme. 
We are looking to appoint consultants in Acute Medicine to our Trust, to work alongside the existing Consultants in Emergency Medicine and provide acute medical in-reach to the Emergency Department. These posts are substantive appointments. 

As part of this role you spend part of your time working within the Emergency Department, and part of your time supporting acute medical colleagues within the Acute Medical Unit and Ambulatory Care Unit.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide clinical leadership as well as specialist acute medical expertise. The acute directorate prides itself on good governance and a philosophy of continuous improvement to which consultants are expected to contribute.
